Christina Moreland is an artist who works across brand design, illustration, painting, print, animation, and motion. She is also the founder and designer of MoreGood, an experimental creative studio and online art shop, as well as the creator of Afro Gurl, a comic and cartoon series.
She was born in Kentucky, raised in both southern Germany and Dallas, Texas, and currently works between Dallas, New York, and LA. She specializes in creative direction, illustration, brand design, and traditional animation, utilizing both vintage-inspired and modern techniques in her work.
Christina creates expressive work that explores human connection while challenging conventionality and the status quo through a tender playfulness and hand-drawn approach. Her work often centers nature, anti-colonialism, and Black/brown, queer identity, using bright color and simplified shapes that feels both vibrant and honest.
Christina’s brand work has also been awarded and featured in publications like Graphis, AAF Dallas, Logolounge, and DSVC.
